  • Exercise your muscles — do simple exercises like stretching your toes and moving your shoulders back and forth to alleviate aches.
  • Take a break — sitting in a car for long results in pain and aches. It's good to take frequent breaks by pulling over to relax and get your blood flowing normally.
  • Relax your grip —switch the way you're holding the steering wheel to prevent stiffness of muscles.

When You’re Flying:

  • Travel light — travel with light luggage to avoid muscle strain. And if you must carry heavy luggage, then use a luggage cart.
  • Sit Comfortably — sit in a comfortable position by adjusting your seat and using pillows for back support.
  • Limit work — it's best to limit work or not work at all during a flight if you want to avoid aches and pains. Working while flying makes you sit in an incorrect posture, leading to aches. Plus, using a laptop can lead to eyestrain.
  • Exercise — do simple exercises by stretching and moving around when space allows.
  • Request for an aisle seat — there's ample space in the aisle seat, suitable for doing simple exercises, leading to relaxed muscles and improved blood flow.
